June was an eventful month for me. It began with the trip to Menengai crater being cancelled- disappointing since I had not gone camping in a while. Oh well. Then I held my 3rd hair event of the year πŸ™‚ (highlights here). The attendance was low but those who came were supportive. The rest of the month was average until one of the scariest events in my life happened.

Yep, I’ve been writing and sharing stories on here for 3 years now. 3 years of travel which began with my visit to South Africa then morphed into exploring my own country. A Waterfall Dries Up!

Climate change and global warming for the most part sound like abstract concepts. The U.S. President even denies that they are real! But if you really pay attention you’ll realize that these are serious problems. For me one of the most shocking signs was the drying up of the waterfall at Paradise Lost, Nairobi.
