Epic Return to Maasai Mara

I had really been looking to go on a trip to refresh the mind after the accident in June. Unfortunately the one I found was postponed. There was no word on the July Waterfowl Census so I thought it had been cancelled. The earliest trip happened to be a whole month later (20- 22 July). I was invited by a friend to join his friends in going to Maasai Mara.

My First Geo-walk with Nairobi Local Guides

After the horrible accident experience last month, I looked for a trip to distract my mind but found none. During the search I came across a Facebook post announcing a Geo-walk on 13th July and planned to attend it. The fact that it was being organized by Nairobi Local Guides caught my attention.

2018 Thika Sewage Waterfowl Census with Nature Kenya

Thika Sewage Treatment Plant falls in the latter.  And so I was eager to attend this one. At least I didn’t have to wake up at an insane hour to make it, since it’s so near. Or so I thought. The day threw me a big surprise!

Amazing Weekend at Elementaita

I’ll never forget May-July 2017. It was one of the most stressful seasons of my life. But also very eye-opening. I had earnestly prayed about something and God answered…though not in the way I expected. Being thankful and trusting Him despite that was quite a challenge, but He showed me that I’m stronger than I think. So after that rough patch, an opportunity to go camping was a welcome relief.
