Drifting Through Kimakia Forest

Waking up early for hikes is usually a struggle for me. Especially on those cold mornings where the bed seems extra comfortable for some reason. That’s why I set the alarm one and a half to two hours before when I want to leave the house, so I give my body enough time to get over the sleep fog. Also so I don’t have to prepare in a rush. It’s rare that I wake up before the alarm. But on this day, the 4 am ring found me already awake.
