Hey peeps, it’s time for another post. And yes, still about hiking in the cold season. This year it was particularly chilly to the point that I had to wear my hiking jacket indoors. Even then, the cold would get to me somewhat. On the morning of 17th July as I woke up early to prepare to go to Kahunira, my voice cracked from the frigid weather. I briefly contemplated going back to bed like the previous weekend, but what fun is that?

Drifting Through Gikuni
When you find something that inspires you, the motivation to do it comes instantly. For me one of those things is hiking. I’m not a morning person or a fan of cold weather either, but the thought of missing a hike because of these reasons is unsettling. That’s why on the extremely chilly morning of July 10th I got out of bed in the early AM and prepared for another Drift.
